People Square Centre Housewarming Party Big Success
On June 5, Mandarin House held a Housewarming Party at the newest People Square Centre. Students joined us to get a first look at the new flagship centre. The bright and spacious environment impressed everyone.
The theme of the party was Dragon Boat Festival. Students learnt the origins of the festival and the different customs. The Festival is always accompanied by the special delicacy: Zongzi. This is sticky rice and meat wrapped in reed leaves and then steamed for 1.5 hours. During the second part of the workshop students learnt to make Zongzi.
