The details of the positions are as follows:

Business Development Officer (Marketing & Partnerships)
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this is a contract position and your responsibilities will include the creation, growth and maintenance of our nationwide and international partner network, managing marketing campaigns, outreaches, event organisation and sharing Mandarin House with the world!

Responsibilities
-  Take the lead in the creation and growth of our nationwide corporate network for language training.
-  Bring in new revenue and students through partnerships and both company and individual channels and sustainable, productive partnerships with agencies, universities and schools worldwide.
-  Take the lead in the growth of our international agent network identifying and acting upon new opportunities.\
-  Manage consistent, professional communications with agents and clients informing them of news, product knowledge and resolving problems.
-  Manage, maintain and grow social media channels, blogs, newsletters and media channels (online and offline)
-  Website maintenance and basic SEO work
-  Content creation, publication and management (articles, reviews, videos, listings etc.)
-  Research, analyse and act upon industry changes, competitors and customer feedback
-  Event organisation and promotional outreaches
-  Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
-  Student engagement for current students and alumni

Required & Desired Abilities

Necessary:
·   Proven, clear, professional English communication ability, with strong presentation skills and a networking master.
·   Hands-on experience in approaching multi-nationals and other large accounts, possessing a proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, reporting, developing forecasts and delivering sales results
·   A strong understanding of sales and marketing with proven business development skills and experience meeting revenue goals.
·   Ability to negotiate and close contracts
·   Good research skills and initiative in opening up new markets and revenue streams
·   Chinese language competence
·   Represent the values of Mandarin House and love Chinese!

Desired:
-   A 3rd language
-   Demonstrated experience in marketing and selling value services to the expatriate market in China.
-   Previous work experience in the education / language industry.
-   International university degree in marketing, communications or journalism.
-   Working knowledge and experience in SEO/SEM
